One Palestinian was killed on Saturday and two were wounded in fierce clashes at Ain Helwa camp of Palestinian refugees in South Lebanon. Clashes between Fatah fighters and gunmen loyal to Bilal Badr, a former member of the Islamist group Fatah al-Islam, continued all through Saturday and till the wee hours of Sunday. The fighting erupted after the gunmen attacked a post manned by Fatah men in the Tiri neighborhood in the camp. Gun battles abated after the Palestinian liaison committee intervened to bring life in the camp back to normal.
