Paris meeting between al-Hariri and Jemayel

The French capital, Paris, witnessed on Tuesday night, a meeting between the president of the Future Movement, Saad  al-Hariri,  and the president of the Lebanese Brigades Party,  Amin Jemayel, who arrived from the Belgian capital, Brussels, on his European tour that will take him on  to the Italian capital, Rome. Sources briefed on aspects of the meeting told Arabstoday that "the discussion was comprehensive about the various political and national files,  in addition to those related to March 14 alliance and the mutual relations between its affiliates, so that it can face the upcoming challenges with more coordination and cooperation". The two men also reviewed the recent developments in the region, especially the situation in Lebanon and Syria, and the Arab summit scheduled this week, as they both stressed the importance of protecting Lebanon from any negative outcomes due to the situation in Syria and the wider region.
