The Representatives Council Secretariat General will organise on November 16 at the council’s headquarters a parliamentary forum on tolerance. The event, which will be held under the patronage of Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Malla, will witness a large scale participation of members of the Shura and Representatives Councils, members of non-government human rights organisations religious scholars, Heads of diplomatic missions in Bahrain media figures and specialists.
The forum will shed light on main issues pertaining to contribution of the parliament to promoting religious tolerance and peaceful co-existence. Bahrain’s experience in this respect will also be brought under the spotlight alongside the goals and vision of the King Hamad Global Centre for Inter-Faith Dialogue and Peaceful Co-Existence.
