Partnership to protect human rights stressed .

Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), Maria Khoury, received here the Chairman of the Bahrain Association of Recruitment Agencies, Aqeel Al-Mahari, in the presence of the Commissioners Council member, Dr. Hameed Hussain.
Khoury stressed the importance of partnership with civil society organisations to achieve the common goals of consolidating and protecting the rights of the citizens and residents alike.
She discussed with Al-Mahari issues of common interest that are within the terms of reference of the NIHR, including ways to provide assistance to the association in the human rights field and involving its affiliates in the NIHR’s training events aimed at promoting the human rights culture.
Bahrain Association of Recruitment Agencies chairman lauded the NIHR’s constant support, stressing the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two sides.
