A police captain and 4 outlaws were killed in a major crackdown security forces launched against outlaws in the northern city of Irbid.

Two bystanders were injured in the ongoing operation by security forces in Irbid, a police source announced, adding that one of the outlaws was arrested in the operation.

The source warned that tough legal action will be taken against some media outlets and pages on social media networks that deliver inaccurate reporting that affects the operation. The source said further details of the ongoing operation will be released once it's over.
