Port Said diocese of Orthodox Copts has received 21 families coming from Arish.
In a statement on Thursday, the Orthodox Church said Anba Tadros, the Bishop of Port Said, welcomed the families which comprise 96 people upon arrival from Arish and performed a mass with them.
The statement said Port Said governorate secured shelters for the families, adding that Port Said Governor Adel Ghadban visited Christians coming from Arish twice.
The governor formed five committees for education, health, social affairs, supply and manpower to help these families.
