Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa yesterday inaugurated the International Diplomatic Bazaar in Lisbon, and visited the UAE pavilion expressing his admiration for the Emirati arts and crafts.
The inauguration was attended by Mousa Al Khaja, UAE Ambassador to Portugal, and Saqr Mohammed, Director of the Coordination Department at the Sharjah Institute for Heritage.
The UAE Embassy participated in the event to promote its culture and tourism and support the philanthropy in Portugal. The proceeds of bazaar will be donated to charitable organisations to help the needy and homeless.
