His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa hailed deep-rooted bilateral relations binding Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, underlining the two countries’ intertwined security. He lauded the crucial role of Saudi Arabia – led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques with the support of the Crown Prince – in protecting regional, Arab and Islamic security, stability and peace.

This came as he received at his palace in Riffa Saudi Interior Minister His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, who conveyed greetings from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, who wished Bahrain’s leadership and people further progress and prosperity.

HRH the Premier discussed with the Saudi Interior Minister fraternal relations and means of further bolstering joint cooperation in all fields, in addition to regional and international developments. He underlined strong historic relations and common destiny, hailing the Saudi-led role in bolstering in maintaining GCC and regional security and stability, owing to its political and economic leverage.

He underscored the Saudi clout in supporting the Arab and Islamic nations, hailing steadfast and bold stances to maintain unity, as well as his initiatives aimed at serving Islam and Muslims. HRH the Premier hailed the strenuous efforts led by the Saudi leader to serve the causes of the nation and achieve regional security and stability.

The Saudi minister expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Premier, hailing his keenness on strengthening bilateral relations binding the two brotherly countries. He lauded HRH the Premier’s wise approach in dealing with different issues and his farsighted vision which contributed to consolidating GCC security cooperation and maintaining regional stability.
