Rabdan Academy is holding an open day for Emirati women next Wednesday at its headquarters in Abu Dhabi, to introduce potential students to its academic programmes and specialities, in the presence of Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs.
James Anthony Morse, Academy President, said that the academy is keen to highlight the efforts of Emirati women as an essential cornerstone of the community and to empower them to use their abilities to contribute to the progress of the country.
Dr. Faisal Al Ayyan, Academy Vice President, emphasised that the event seeks to motivate women and urge them to participate in the fields of security, safety, defence, and crisis management.
The open day activities include a presentation about the programmes and specialities of the academy, as well as interactive sessions with successful Emirati women from different fields. The women will speak about their motivating journeys in community service in the UAE.
Many students in Abu Dhabi schools affiliated with the Abu Dhabi Education and Knowledge department, ADEK, will participate in the activities, in the presence of numerous women from the Ministry of Interior, the Abu Dhabi Police, and other government authorities in the emirate.
Dr. Najwa Mohamed Al Hosani, Member of the Board of Trustees of Rabdan Academy, affirmed that the academy's goal in organising events such as this is to underline the important role of women in community building and empowering the country's future generations of women.
