Prime Minister Sherif Ismail held a meeting on Sunday to discuss the preparations for the expected visit by French President François Hollande to Egypt in May.
During the gathering, attended by Ministers of housing, electricity, international cooperation and transport, Ismail touched on cooperation agreements slated to be signed during Holland's visit.
The agreements, expected to be inked between Egypt and France, will contribute to fostering bilateral cooperation in economic, trade and cultural fields, the Egyptian Premier asserted.
He called for making good use of Hollande's visit to bolster bilateral ties in various sectors.
He urged developing a plan for economic, industrial and trade cooperation as well as strengthening relations in the fields of education and technical and vocational training between the two countries.
The proposed deals will cover a raft of service projects, including projects to supply natural gas to houses and establish an electric power center as well as building solar and wind-powered stations, Spokesman for the Cabinet Hossam Qawish said.
