Sharjah - Arabstoday

A number of retirees and beneficiaries of social aid in Sharjah have expressed their gratitude to Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, for the orders he made to increase their salaries at similar percentages to the salaries of those working in the federal government. They said that by doing so, Sheikh Sultan set a wonderful example of solidarity and effective communication between the Ruler and the ruled. This is due to the fact that although he was outside the UAE for medical treatment, he did not hesitate to follow up on UAE updates. He promptly instructed Sharjah government employees’ salaries to be increased following the move to hike federal government employees’ salaries, which was ordered  by PresidentHis Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He then ordered a new boost that covered the retirees and beneficiaries of social aid.A number of Sharjah officials also thanked Sheikh Sultan for this boost.
