Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud issued a royal order relieving National Guard Minister Prince Mita’ab bin Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and replacing him by Prince Khalid bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf Al-Muqren.
The Saudi monarch relieved Minister of Economy and Planning Adel bin Mohammed Faqih and replaced him by Mohammed bin Mazid Al-Tuweijari.
He also sacked the Commander of the Naval Forces Admiral Abdullah bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al-Sultan and referred him to retirement.
Vice Admiral Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Ghifaili has been promoted to the rank of admiral and appointed as Commander of the Naval Forces.
