Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received a telephone call from Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al-Beshir.
The Sudanese President praised success of North Thunder drill, describing it as a tremendous and unprecedented work, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
King Salman thanked the Sudanese President for the congratulation, stressing that Thunder North was to serve Islam and Muslims. He also expressed happiness about Sudan's participation in the exercise, stressing the need for continuous cooperation.
The Sudanese President commended victories in Yemen, wishing the country security and stability.
