The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud left here today to the United Arab Emirates, the first leg of a GCC tour that also includes Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait.
A statement issued by the Saudi Royal Court and carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), said that King Salman “will meet the GCC leaders and a number of officials to review relations and ways of enhancing them in all filed as well as to discuss the regional and international issues of common interest.”
“The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques will attend the 37th GCC Summit to be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain,” the statement also said.
The GCC tour is in line with King Salman’s “keenness to communicate with the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States in serving the GCC peoples and enhancing the bonds of brotherhood among the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the GCC states,” the Saudi Royal Court added.
