The Saudi National Society for Human Rights, NSHR, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has refuted the allegations made by the Qatari National Human Rights Committee regarding the violation of the rights of visitors and other of Qatari citizenship in the Kingdom.
The Saudi Press Agency quoted a statement from NSHR reiterating that the competent authorities in the Kingdom are implementing orders to enable visitors and others of Qatari citizenship who need to enter or leave the Kingdom to exercise their rights in full within the framework of the applicable regulations in force in this regard, in addition to the existence of a special committee to consider and deal with emergency humanitarian situations.
The statement affirms that these instructions, procedures and humanitarian steps taken by the competent authorities in the Kingdom preserve and safeguard the rights of all, including visiting Qatari nationals and others, and hope that those Qatari citizens who have complaints will communicate with them to allow them to consider and deal with their complaints in accordance with applicable regulations.
