The Supreme Constitutional Court (SCC) categorically denied the reports circulated on some news websites on the issue of a ruling on litigation with regard to handing over Tiran and Sanafir islands to Saudi Arabia.
Such reports are completely untrue, Deputy Chief of SSC and spokesman for the SCC Counselor Ragab Selim said in a statement on Saturday.
The court, he noted, has not yet considered the appeal submitted by the State Lawsuits Authority on a verdict issued by the administrative justice court on the annulment of an agreement signed by the representatives of the Egyptian government on maritime demarcation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
