Mufti of Tripoli and the North, Sheikh Malek Al-Shaar, delivered the Friday prayer sermon at the Grand Mosque of Mansouri in Tripoli, whereby he tackled the current situation in the country and stressed that wisdom has prevented the collapse of the country and has formed a safety valve which brought everyone back to their law and their Constitution.
"The political crisis we are experiencing at present is not limited to the absence of Sheikh Saad Hariri. We must realize the reasons for the resignation, its dimensions and its content. It is not permissible for a team to feel victorious and overpowering the other, neither with its external affiliation nor with its military and weapons potentials. Lebanon, like other countries, State and communities, should treat its people equally in all kinds of rights and duties
