The Sharjah Charity International (SCI) has commenced its AED2.15 million seasonal programme "Ramadan Iftar Programme Abroad," which includes distribution of Ramdan breakfast meals to those fasting in 59 countries worldwide, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and the UAE Embassies abroad.
Mohammed Hamdan Al Zari, Director of Projects at SCI, said the charity body continues to distribute the Ramadan breakfast meals to those fasting in capitals and cities of 59 countries.
He added that those countries have been selected through consultations between the UAE Embassies and those in charge of the SCI projects abroad.
