President Michel Sleiman returned today morning (Wednesday) to Beirut, accompanied by his wife Mrs. Wafa and the accompanying delegation, after concluding his African tour which included: Ivory Coast, Senegal, Nigeria, and Ghana. Sleiman met during his tour leaders of these countries and senior officials; as well, he was briefed on the situation of the Lebanese communities there. The President urged the Lebanese to stay in touch with their country and stressed "the importance of the Lebanese, wherever they may be in the world, to convey the real image of Lebanon." Sleiman's African tour also witnessed a number of signing agreements and paved the way for investment exchange between the Lebanese businessmen and their counterparts in the four African countries which the tour covered.
