Technical snag at a platform in Karama Metro Station, Dubai, has affected train service in one direction, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said on Friday. RTA technicians are still trying find out what the problem is. “There is some technical issue with a platform in Karama station and the train has stopped. We are trying to sort it out as soon as possible,” said Ramadan Abdullah, Director of Operations at RTA’s Rail Agency. He added that the service is delayed in only one direction on the Red Line and services on other directions are running on schedule. “Some passengers are being affected. We are providing an alternative bus service to transport people to other stations until the service is back to normal,” said Abdullah. From GN
