The best solution for the garbage problem nationwide is to set a strategy concerning hygiene and waste in Egypt until 2030, Secretary-General of the General Union of Workers in hygiene and improvement of the environment Amin Hassan al Naqib said.
In exclusive statements to MENA on Sunday, Naqib asserted the importance of forming a new ministry for hygiene.
He added that this strategy will help in providing 1.5 million job opportunities as well as foreign currency via providing raw materials required for a number of industries.
He also added that this strategy will support investment in waste.
An international conference and fair is expected to be held on April 13-15 in which 130 companies specialized in recycling waste will participate. The event is held under the auspices of Environment Ministry and General Union of Workers in hygiene and improvement of the environment.
