Tunisian Prime Minister Ali Larayedh on Saturday met with Nabil Shaath, Palestine’s commissioner for international relations, currently on a visit to Tunis.They reviewed bilateral relations and the latest developments on the Palestinian front, especially those related to the national reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas, in addition to means of enhancing Palestinian unity.After the meeting, Shaath said the achievement of national reconciliation and unity is a necessary step towards the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state, noting that Palestinian leaderships are serious about working to achieve the reconciliation in a democratic framework.He added that the Tunisian premier expressed his country’s readiness to continue to support the Palestinian people’s struggle to establish their independent state and achieve the national reconciliation, besides supporting the Palestinian issue in international events
