The General Directorate of Traffic has opened two new branches at Sitra Mall and Hamad Town (17th Roundabout).
"The opening of the facilities followed directives issued by Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa to fast-track transactions", said Traffic director-general Brigadier Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdelwahab Al-Khalifa.
The Sitra Mall branch will be operated from 9 am to 3 pm, while the Hamad Town facility will open at 7.30 am and close at 9 pm.
The two branches will provide all traffic services, including transfer of ownership, renewal of licences, payment of fines and other services. "The step aims at speeding-up all traffic transactions and enable citizens to benefit from branches nearby", said Shaikh Abdulrahman.
