Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Non-Resident Ambassador to Tajikistan, on Friday, visited the Cancer Research Centre and Hospital in Dushanbe.
During his visit, Al Jaber witnessed the delivery of medicines for children with cancer, which were provided by the Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, in collaboration with Tajikistan's Lona Charity Fund.
The supply of medicine was donated as part of the Year of Giving Initiative launched by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Al Jaber highlighted the desire of the UAE’s leadership to aid needy people around the world.
The directors of both the centre and the fund thanked Al Jaber and charitable Emirati organisations for their ongoing humanitarian support for Tajikistan.
