The UAE and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan have signed an agreement on mutual allocation of land in the cities of Abu Dhabi and Kabul for the construction of buildings to house diplomatic representative missions in both countries.
The agreement was signed by Ahmed Sari Al Mazrouei, Acting Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Abdul Fareed Zakaria, Ambassador of Afghanistan to the UAE, on the sidelines of their meeting yesterday at the ministry's office in Abu Dhabi.
Al Mazrouei emphasised the importance of bilateral relations between the UAE and Afghanistan and means of strengthening and developing them in various fields.
The Afghan Ambassador praised the level of relations between the two countries, emphasising his country's keenness to develop these relations and serve their common interests.
