The UAE Embassy in Beirut, represented by its Humanitarian and Development Mission, presented an advanced medical device to the Sir Denniye Governmental Hospital, North Lebanon, as a donation from the Sharjah Charity International.
Before making the donation, the embassy assessed the critical state of the hospital, especially as it receives many Lebanese patients and offers its services to Syrian refugees.
Omar Fatfat, Director and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Hospital, expressed his appreciation for the generous donation while adding that this is not the first assistance provided by the UAE, as the country is known for its generosity and leadership in charitable activities. The medical device will also be highly beneficial to all, he affirmed.
The device, known as "Mobile C-ARM," will enable the hospital to provide the best medical services, he pointed out while highlighting the UAE’s leading humanitarian and development role, in a report on its donations and charitable institutions, including the Sharjah Charity International.
