UN official lauds UAE's development support in Somalia

Michael Keating, Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Somalia, has applauded the efforts being made by the UAE to support security and stability in Somalia.
This came during a meeting that Keating held, on Tuesday, with Mohammed Ahmed Othman Al Hammadi, UAE Ambassador to Somalia, at the UAE Embassy in Mogadishu.
Keating praised UAE's role in the peace process and its national reconciliation efforts in Somalia, as well as in the development projects in different parts of Somalia.
Ambassador Al Hammadi thanked Keating for his visit to the embassy and affirmed keenness to enhance co-operation with the UN office in Somalia.
