VP, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince discuss national issues

The Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, met His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, in Dubai on Tuesday, as part of their continuous consultations aimed at deepening the spirit of national solidarity and social cohesion between the leadership, represented by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the people.

The two leaders emphasised the importance of taking the process of national development and progress forward to secure a stable and happy life for the UAE’s citizens and a prosperous future for the generations to come.

They stressed that preserving the prominent standing and good reputation of the UAE internationally should remain a top national priority for government and non-government entities so as to protect ''our national gains'' that have been achieved by the innovations and efforts of the youth.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and a number of senior officials.
