Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Tuesday formally instructed all ministries and government departments to facilitate the services for people with special needs.
In a statement, the premier emphasized that services be accorded on priority to people with disabilities, the elderly and the sick. Also, specific staff members should be designated in public agencies to follow-up any transactions taken up by these special category people, and to ensure that they are made aware of services provided by the government.
He called upon all the competent bodies to comply with these instructions aimed at enhancing human rights in the Kingdom.
