Jordanian cooking professor, Heba El Masry encourages social media cooking pages, as they are the only resort for the working woman with family, single men, and newly married girls.
Heba is a mother of 4 children, with a degree in accounting, and she started to make her own dishes 3 years ago. She started cooking as a hobby and her mother always encouraged her, so she turned it into a profession.
She said during an interview with “Arab Today” that, she started with traditional dishes, then, she began learning about Arabic and foreign ones, adding her own touch. She set up a small kitchen at her house and created a Facebook page, and began working.
At the beginning of her project, she faced difficulties like, working alone, cooking and rapping materials shortage, and delivery services, but she was able to overcome all of them.
She started to create new dishes because she saw the increase number of working women, who want to have a good and fulfill meal, so she created everyone’s favorite cake with Nautila and Galaxy, along with, Cheese roses, Bownty flowers, Sneakers and filling easy to carry cups with cheese cake.
Her foreign dishes increased her deliveries especially in weddings and birthdays. She confirmed that the secret behind every woman success in kitchen is cleanliness, hard work and good behavior with the customers.
