Emirati artists Ahlam said, in an interview with 'Arabstoday', in Beirut Central District, that she put her emotions aside in several cases in order to be fair in judging amateurs in the popular TV programme "Arab Idol". Ahlam said that she had affection towards all the participants, but the idea of the programme was based on an artistic competition. The Emirati artist said that she was not partial to any participant, while she believes them to be an "excellent" fuel for Arab art in the future. According to her, they should be fully supported in order to reach carve their own niche in the entertainment world.
