The Syrian singer, Ali El Deek, has said that he refutes the attack in which his fellow Syrian singer Asala, directed towards Syrian president Bashar al-Assad, noting that the crisis in his country is near to a resolution. However, he expressed his sorrow for those have been killed every day. He also said he cannot be compared to the Egyptian artist Tamer Hosny, as each one has his own unique style and audience that. He added that the duet he sang with Dominique Hourani was a great success. El Deek stated, during his interview with Lebanese station OTV Wednesday that: “Asala is a big star, and her voice is very famous, but she should not interfere herself with president Bashar al-Assad and the regime in Syria in the same way as she should not launch such attacks”.
