Fathy Abdel Wahab has said he turned down a role in the TV series “Ebn Lail” for two years. The Egyptian star says it was not because of the script but because he didn’t want to play an Upper Egypt role. He confirmed that he wasn’t offered the role this year, but he still wouldn't do it. "I want to play different roles, and at the end it’s a matter of destiny. I also accepted a role in "Al-Ekhwa al-Adaa" (Enemy Brothers). Fathy said this Ramadan will have about 30 series, including five shows that deal with Upper Egypt. "Al-Ekhwa al-Adaa" stares Salah Al-Saadny, Fathy Abdel Wahab, Yasser Galal, Ola Ghanem, Hagag Abdel Azzim, Afaf Shoeib, Ahmed Siam, Shams, Nermin Maher, Alaa Zainhom, Soliman Eid, Mimi Gamal, and Randa al-Behairy. It is written by Sherif Helmy and directed by Mohamed al-Nokaly.
