Egyptian actress Hanan Turk denied the news spread about her engagement to the son of the Muslim Brotherhood leader Hassan Malek. The false news about her engagement was published in one of the Egyptian magazines. Hanan told Arabstoday: “I refuse the attribution of my name to such false news, especially since I have a strong friendship with Dr Hassan Malek who I have a lot of respect for.” Hanan said she has retired and decided to keep distant from art and spotlights, and that she will take legal procedures against any media means that attribute her name to any false or fabricated news. She announced her decision to retire during Ramadan on the Ana Wal Assal show, after finishing the shooting of the series El Okht Teresa (Sister Teresa).
