Lebanese singer Ziad Borji has told Arabstoday that the way to stardom has become “impossible” without investments, media and PR backing. “Making sure your fame doesn't fizzle out is a very difficult thing to do,” Borji said in an interview with Arabstoday. “It takes self-awareness and persistence.” The singer put down his own success to “patience, hard work and honesty.” Borji, who has already dabbled in acting with some success, is set to star in a new Lebanese TV drama. He meanwhile denied signing up to play the lead role in a biopic about Lebanese singer Walid Tawfik.
