Egyptian actress Nahed el-Sebaey has released her new film "Baad Al Mawkea" (After the Battle) on Sunday. The film represented Egypt in the last Cannes Film Festival, and Nahed hopes the Egyptian audience will enjoy it. In another context, Nahed told Arabstoday that she will not participate in the series that her mother Nahed Faried Shawky intends to produce. The series relates the life of her grandfather actor Faried Shawky. Nahed said they were after a professional production worth of her family name. She added she will continue filming her series “Zat” with actress Nelly Karim in October. The series were supposed to be broadcast during Ramadan but was postponed because of production issues. She plays the role of Samiha, a country girl who moves to live in the city.
