Musician Salah al-Sharnoubi has revealed he is making a documentary about the late legendary Algerian singer Warda. He said he will use clips from a press conference held before the shooting of the show "Aan al-Awan" (It's time), which he produced for Warda seven years ago. Sharnoubi added that he will use the songs of the production as a musical score for the film, adding that it will be ready on the forty-day memorial of the late singer. Warda died earlier this month at the age of 73 after suffering from a fatal heart attack. The Arab world mourned her loss as one of the "best Arab voices of all time".
