Egyptian actor Sherif Mounir has decided to cast his vote for Nasserist presidential candidate Hamdeen Sabahi, in elections scheduled to take place this Wednesday and Thursday. Mounir said by following television debates and interviews between the presidential candidates, he came to admire "Sabahi's talks and felt they were honest, so I decided to vote for him". "I hope I'm able to go to the election booth and cast my vote, despite the pain I feel in my feet and back. The pain prompted me to stop shooting the show "al-Safaa" (The Slap), which I star in, and is scheduled to be aired next Ramadan.
