Egyptian artist, Taysir Fahmi has decided to participate in the second anniversary of Egypt's January 25 Revolution in Tahrir Square. The star added that she "will not go for the celebrations but rather for the continuation of the revolution, which did not achieve its goals." Fahmi added that "Egyptian youth, who led the revolution, will not allow losing their future after these great efforts and sacrifices since the outbreak of the revolution." She added that "the interests of the current regime require people to remain poor in order to ensure getting the most votes in the election battles in order to empower the group." Finally, she added "I still believe that Egyptian youth can achieve the demands of the revolution through will and determination, especially since this generation had been subjected to so much injustice."
