Julia Roberts doesn't take it personally when she doesn't get parts in movies. The Erin Brockovich star revealed she "always [feels] like there is room for everybody" in films while interviewing for the September issue of InStyle magazine.
"I don't consider myself really all that ambitious," she added. "When I didn't get a part -- even when I was younger and needing to pay my rent -- I would think, 'Oh, someone else got it. She's going to be so good.' I never felt sour grapes."
On the subject of landing roles, the 46-year-old actress unveiled in the interview that she passed on the opportunity of playing Annie Reed in the iconic '90s film, Sleepless in Seattle.
"I'd been offered Sleepless in Seattle, but couldn't do it," she said. "[Meg Ryan] and Tom Hanks are just such a jewel of a fit in that. I guess what they did for that moment in time is sort of what Richard [Gere] and I were doing across town, you know?"
Roberts also discusses being a working mom and joked that she's prettier than Halle Berry in the magazine's upcoming issue, which will be released on August 15.
