In a special statement to Arabstoday, Egyptian actress and singer Yusra said: "How can I stand in front of a camera when Egypt is on the brink of the abyss and we are undergoing a referendum crucial to the history of this country?”"Stability must come first" she argued. Yusra expressed her wish that the Constitutional Declaration referendum day would pass peacefully, adding she is personally hoping a “no” result would come out of a national vote. In recent weeks, Yusra has been keen to spend time in Tahrir Square, denouncing President Mohammed Morsi’s Constitutional Declaration, which he dropped after a series of hard-fought sit-ins and demonstrations across Egypt.
