Muslim media personnel have role in anti-terror campaigns

Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar called on Thursday for supporting a role played by Muslim media personnel to brief citizens on the hazards of terrorism and extremism and defend the true image of Islam.
He also stressed the importance of enforcing a strong Arab action to face the terrorist groups in the region.
The minister gave the statements during a meeting with members of the media committee entrusted with setting the scene for the conference of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs.
