Trade and Industry Minister Mounir Fakhri Abdel Nour on Monday said that Egypt is keen on Italy's effective participation in the economic conference, slated for march, in Sharm el Sheikh.
During his meeting with Italian Agriculture Minister Maurizio Martina, the minister stressed on boosting bilateral relations, especially in the agricultural field through implementing the green trade initiative.
He added that the Italian delegation's visit comes within the context of the outcome of President Abdel Fattah el Sisi's visit to Italy in November.
Egypt will receive a delegation of leading Italian companies in February to discuss further cooperation in a number of joint projects, he added.
