Two Israeli gunboats violated on Friday the Lebanese territorial waters, a statement by the Lebanese army said.
One of the vessels sailed for a distance of 205 meters and the other went 300 meters off Ras al-Naqoura before returning in the direction of the Palestinian territorial waters.
The army is coordinating action with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in the wake of the incident, the statement added.
