Baroness Catherine Ashton
Brussels - KUNA

Catherine Ashton, who stepped down as the EU High Representative on 31 October, will continue to lead the nuclear negotiations on behalf of the Group 5+1 with Iran.
Catherine Ray, the new spokesperson for the new EU High Representative Federica Mogherini, told a news conference here today that until 24 November Ashton will continue to lead the negotiations on Iran.
The decision was taken in agreement with Mogherini and EU member states were informed about it, she noted.
Ashton will meet with the political directors of the Group of 5+1 on 7 November in Vienna.
Further she will meet with Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif together with US Secretary of State John Kerry in Oman on 9-10 November.
The next round of talks between Iran and the 5+1 will take place in Vienna from 18 November.
"The deadline to reach a comprehensive agreement is 24 November so we are determined to reach an agreement by that date," added Ray.
