Iran-powers nuclear talks
Tehran - FNA

China said Iran and the Group 5+1 (the five permanent UN Security Council members plus Germany) have deeply understood the importance of the present stage of their nuclear talks and their differences have been remarkably narrowed down.
Head of Chinese nuclear negotiating team Van Chun told the China News Radio that fortunately during the recent talks the two sides welcomed the emerged opportunity and achieved shared viewpoints, which is both praiseworthy and pleasing.
He reiterated that getting closer of the two sides’ viewpoints and setting aside some of the differences of opinion will beyond doubt lead Iran and the six world powers towards the desired outcome sooner.
He also informed that China had proposed a plan in the recent round of the talks, expressing hope that it will contribute to resolving the disputes and reaching a comprehensive agreement.
Talks between deputy foreign ministers of Iran and the G5+1 ended in Geneva on Wednesday after 3 days of intensive negotiations.
At the end of the talks, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister and senior negotiator Seyed Abbas Araqchi announced that the next round of the talks will be held next month.
He said that next month's talks will be held at the level of deputy foreign ministers.
The new round of talks between Tehran and the G5+1 started in Geneva on Monday and ended on Wednesday. The Iranian and US delegations held three rounds of negotiations.
The 10th and last round of negotiations between Iran and the six world powers was held in Vienna from November 18 to 24.
Tehran and the six countries agreed to extend negotiations until July 1 after they failed to reach an agreement on a number of key issues.
