Bethlehem - Arab Today

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnapped, on Thursday at dawn, at least ten Palestinians in different parts of the occupied West Bank, during military raids, the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) reports.

In Bethlehem, the IOF stormed and searched many homes, before kidnapping Mohammad Majdi al-Azza, Omar Sami al-Azza, and his brother Mohammad.

In addition, the IOF kidnapped a tennager identified as Ahmad al-‘Amour, 16, in Teqoua’ town, south of Bethlehem.

In the northern entrance of Bethlehem a Palestinian was injured, near the Israeli military checkpoint #300, after an Israeli settler rammed him with his car.

The settler fled the scene, while the Palestinian was rushed to a hospital in Bethlehem.

In Hebron the Israeli soldiers searched and ransacked homes, especially in Abu Sneina neighborhood, and kidnapped one Palestinian, identified as Jihad Ezzeddin Abu Turki.

Many homes were also searched in Wad as-Somman area, and many other areas, in the southern part of Hebron.

In Jenin, in the north of the occupied West Bank, the IOF kidnapped two Palestinians, identified as Kamal al-Almani, and Bara’ Ateyya, after stopping them at a roadblock.

In Ni’ lin village, several Israeli jeeps invaded the small town and kidnapped two Palestinians, identified as Saif Sameeh Srour, 18, and Soheib Fahmi Srour, according to PPS.

According to locals, the Israeli soldiers used explosives to detonate the door of Saif’s home, before breaking into the property and searching it.

The soldiers also invaded Abu Dis town, east of occupied Jerusalem, and kidnapped one Palestinian.

Israel is currently holding 7,000 Palestinians in its jails and prisons, according to prisoners’ rights organization Addameer, and 700 are being indefinitely held in administrative detention — internment without trial or charge.
