Gaza City - Arab Today

Israeli authorities prevented on Friday scores of Palestinians in Gaza from heading for al Quds via Erez crossing to perform prayer in Al Aqsa Mosque for the second week in a row.

Israel continues banning prayer performers aging over 60 to perform prayers in the mosque, a Palestinian official said in a press statement.

As many as 200 prayer performers are to leave Gaza each Friday for Quds to pray in Aqsa Mosque via Erez crossing and get back on the same day.
