Israeli occupation authorities on Wednesday handed to nine Palestinian families notices intimating them that their under-construction houses in the West Bank will be demolished.
The occupation authorities said that these houses were built without construction permits.
Head of Wadi An-nees Village Council Yousef Abu Hammad said in a statement that a large posse of Israeli army men broke into the village and handed the demolition notices to the families, informing them they have 45 days to file official appeals with the Israeli Supreme Court.
Abu Hammad added that similar orders were handed to the same families on September 30.
Meanwhile, extremist settlers early Wednesday set fire to over 30 olive trees planted by Palestinian's ancestors hundreds of years ago in addition to a number of cypress and pine trees in Nahaleen village, southwest of Bethlehem in the West Bank.
