Israeli authorities have imposed the first penalty of $200 on a mosque in the city of Lod in implementation of the unjust decision that prohibits the use of loudspeakers for Adhan (call for prayer) at mosques in Jerusalem.
The decision has been approved by the Israeli Knesset in the first reading few days ago.
The Israeli authorities claimed that the penalty was imposed under the pretext of causing noise for Jews who live in the same area of the mosque.
